Description

A clear change in our environment, not least regarding solutions for the Armed Forces, is the demand for increased mobility and flexibility. Dependence on advanced IT systems is also increasing outside the data centers and IT systems must be able to follow in a field-wise manner, but safe way.

Target Enclosure Model 6810SE allows an installation of 6 height units IT equipment. Model 6810SE has the dimensions 1000x800x425 mm and is equipped with 32 pcs of  M8 attachment points.

CRATE is equipped with a wave trap, power filter, fans, seismic detector, alarm contact and locking system.

CRATE can be mounted both horizontally and vertically

A very big advantage of being able to mount CRATE vertically is that it can be placed, temporarily, or permanently, in a regular standard 19” stand. For example, in an existing data hall where the equipment does not normally have requirements for TEMPEST protection. This means that it is possible to convert existing IT security cabinets to cabinets in the highest TEMPEST class with shell protection. This solution also opens completely new opportunities for protection of critical INFORMATION during exercises, temporary projects or temporary premises. CRATE, with its size and mobility, fits perfectly into container solutions. It can also be stacked in up to 4 units on top of each other.

In addition to the possibility of placing CRATE in regular 19″ stands, it is prepared with attachment points so it easily can be mounted in different types of vehicles and craft. We offer mounting and attachment options such as rail systems, vibration dampening and customized mounting solutions. This creates a completely unique opportunity to get highest protection against clearing signals, TEMPEST 10GHz/100dB, even on smaller units out in the field.

CRATE and its electrical system are based on the market’s standardized solutions. E.g. connections for power supply, IT equipment and alarms. CRATE can be provided with single or double power supply with RCCB for personal protection and 6 pcs lockable C-13 sockets per power supply.

• The lock for CRATE is KabaMas 252 which provides a quick and safe accessibility for users.
• CRATE is tested and approved by RISE according to SS-EN 1143-1.
• Regarding mechanical burglary protection.
• CRATE is tested and approved by Combitech according to EN50147 and NSA94-106.
• It is the highest international TEMPEST class 10GHz/100dB, according to the current standard.
• We have chosen to call this highest classification Shielded Enclosure (SE).

CRATE Technical Specification

Shell: High-strength 3 mm steel with 32 pcs of M8 attachment points.

Body: A system of 2-5 mm thick metal details SE door: 2×2 mm lacquered steel with beryllium-copper moldings.

Surface/Colour: The shell is powder-coated in gray RAL 7035. Exterior details are powder-coated in gray RAL 7035 and black RAL 9005.

Operating environment: The cabinets are designed for normal indoor operating conditions according to IEC61439-1. Paragraph 7. Pollution degree 1. CRATE can be advantageously placed in vehicles.
